St. Joseph Secondary’s Chorale was established by Mrs. Clinton-De Las in 2011 and consists of students from forms 1 to 5. It started off with a few members but has grown tremendously over the years. We have participated and have done well in the National San Fest competitions, National Junior Parang competitions and planned events at our school. We love performing all genres of music but our favourites have been folk songs, soca/calypso songs, negro spiritual songs and national songs. Our chorale has gone through many changes, but we continue to aspire for greatness. For those interested, practice usually takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the lunch time. However, we are hoping to eventually receive a period specifically for choir. As we continue to strive for musical excellence, we invite new members to join us and journey with us, as we make our mark in Trinidad and Tobago and one day, throughout the world.
